Five For Friday

It's Friday! (I don't know why I'm so excited (@_@;)...go figure)
Anyway, I haven't been faithful to it, but..here are the random 5 questions I pose today....

1. What are you reading currently?

Right now, I am reading the third installment in a really kick-arse series by J.W. Bacarro. The book is called "The Coming of the Light" and it's the third in the Guardian of the Seventh Realm series. (Review coming soon!)

2. What's your favorite food?

It used to be cabbage stuffed egg rolls...forget what you call them, but YUM...but since I am "sick" now and I'm limited to what I can eat...I'd probably go with something like Spanish mackeral or just plain old spinach. My fave snack though is Kashi's Heart to Heart whole grain Crackers. They're like Triscuits, but have a weird kick to them from the tea extract they use. I like them though.

3. Are you a happy-go-lucky person?

I'm content. To be honest, I do not have much in common with the people that are happy all of the time and "the world is sunshine and rainbows" type of people. I do not have anything against them, and sometimes I envy them, but it's because I feel they still have a level of innocence to them. The majority of them just haven't been through anything traumatic or dramatic, or just haven't been exposed to the darker side of the world, or of people....and I hope they never do....but, once you have, that last shred of innocence you were holding onto is forever gone. And, there's just no getting it back. Suddenly, the world, and those in it, just looks different.

4. How many kids do you want?

Just the one kiddo I have now. I wouldn't be opposed to fostering or adopting later on, but...there are way too many bodies on this earth as is. They sure don't need me adding more to it. (My family makes up for it with their large broods) *faints*

5. If you were on a deserted island and could take only three things with you...what would you take?

Anything I want? That's easy! A yacht, a crew, and a Kindle. \\(>o<)//

Thanks for reading...if you want to chime in with your own, feel free to do so! I'd like to hear (or read, rather) what you'd say.

Random Squealy Moment:

Am going to see fireworks tonight. Yay! Is going to be super cool and dangerous because they do it right over our heads and the burn-y pieces fall down on us and singe our clothes. Can't wait! (<--*hearts* fireworks!)

  5. Farseer trilogy = yay!

Dragon Jousters series...had to look that one up, but it looks really good. Dragons, magic, Egypt, etc. = Awesomeness!

I also had to look up bacon bones. I mean, obviously I knew it would be a pork bone, but, was curious which bone. I've had ham-bone soup and that's probably the closest. For the most part, I use a hock if in something like soup or greens, or some beans. At any rate...yum!

15 makes a rugby team, yes, but who will they play against as training children?...you might need to aim for 35 in all. (yikes!)
