Ughhh...
I haven't been on the blog lately because personal things have cropped up, some illnesses, some death, a little depressing this and that....but the sun has came out, so ....this Thursday, I want to showcase Jpop music, but one duo in particular who I can't get enough of today (or most days LoL)...On/Off.
On/Off is composed of Japanese twin brothers Naoya & Kazuya Sakamoto, and I heard their song "Eien no Setsuna" (Eternal Moment) from the movie Fuma no Kojiro, but I became a fan after they did the openings for Vampire Knight anime. \(^O^)/
So...this Thursday, here are 5 songs I am listening to.....
Eien no Setsuna
(Opening for Vampire Knight \(≧∇≦)/ )
Futatsu no Kodou to Akai Tsumi
(Opening for Vampire Knight: Guilty) (@_@;)
Rinne Rondo
(My Favorite thus far.. (^ε^) )
Butterfly
(My daughter's favorite) (⌒▽⌒)// (Such goofies!)<--I think I made a word!
Hanekaesu Yuuki
I think that'll do it.....Next Thursday, I'll probably get my funk on with some George Clinton...need to go through all my vinyl and find them!
Sounds like it's been a tough time, take care of yourself. Music is a good way to soothe so many aches. Sue
ReplyDeleteI was wondering what happened April. Glad to hear from you and thanks for posting again. I always say "life comes first" when it comes to blogging. Those songs are 'da bomb! Twins too! Awesome.
ReplyDeleteThanks. (^l^)
ReplyDeleteThis week is pretty much hectic as well. They say death comes in threes, and we just lost one relative and now my uncle passed, so we're dealing with that now as well. So......anyway, it's pretty much "family" this week. But...when things settle again, I'll have more time to get back on the 'net & on here.
Those guys...there are better Jpop singers out there, but I cannot get enough of those two. LoL...they're such funny dorks! (when they're not being all "smexy")
Thanx again! And, look forward to playing catch-up on your blog!
Futatsu no Kodou to Akai Tsumi was the first Japanese song I ever read in full: hiragana, katakana and kanji. I was happy to finally break past romaji!
ReplyDeleteGlad to know some of my readers have such an interest in Japan as well :) Maybe there is an audience for a few of my upcoming reviews then, lol.
Definitely..I enjoyed the one you did and look forward to more!
